HCG R1P2 VLCD 13

Weight:  175.8

Down 0.4 pounds.  My scale was spastic this morning and so after breakfast I went to buy a new battery.  So my weight for today reflects my after-breakfast and tea weight.  I am not sure yet what I am eating today.  I am bored slightly with the diet foods.  I think I will look up some of the Simeon's-friendly recipes on the forum.

Breakfast:
herbal tea
1/2 grapefruit

Lunch:
burger
grape tomatoes

Dinner
Shrimp
Cucumber

I skipped my apple, grissini, and didn't drink as much water as usual. I just wasnt hungry.

Down .6

Slowly going down.  (Much faster than a traditional diet though).  I woke up at 6:30, fully rested.  I have energy so far this morning.  Hopefully the kids will not behave today like they did yesterday.

I am also going to be much more precise with my calorie count.  The meats were exact, but I was guessing on how much the fruit weighed, and thus the calories for them.

Breakfast:
1/2 grapefuit (these are really good this time of year), 130g, 50 cal
tea with milk and stevia, 9cal

Snack:
grissini, 23 cal

burger (93/7, 100 g raw), 158 cal

Down .2 pounds.  Not phenomenal or anything, especially as I only ate about 320 calories yesterday, but it is still a move in the right direction.  I am still feeling good.

93%ff sirloin burger (100g raw), cooked medium with steak seasoning, 158 cal

HCG R1P2 VLCD 5

Weight:  179.8

Very happy to be in the 170's. 

Complications so far:  very dry skin.  Not sure yet what to do about it.  I caved yesterday and used my regular moisturizer, but it hasn't totally restored my face skin yet.  Very cracked, flaky, etc.  Someone recommended an oil I had never heard of...I will have to look it up.

Today's meals:

Breakfast:
1/2 grapefruit, 44 cal

Lunch:
100 g (raw) shrimp, cooked, 106 cal
3 roma tomatoes, chopped w/salt/pepper  33 cal

Dinner
100 g (raw) turkey, cooked, 107 cal
5 c. spinach, sauteed, 30 cal
"sweet" tea:  decaf tea with stevia

total: 320 calories.  This seems very low to me, but I am really tired and don't want to eat anymore.

I felt hungry during the day, but it wasn't a craving for Jason's deli (although it did look good), just a normal "empty" stomach feeling.  I felt immediately better after my meals.  I wished I had brought my apple to work to eat at 3:00 p.m., but now that it is 8:30, I think I will skip it and the cup of hot tea I was looking forward to.  I am tired and just want to go to bed.

HCG R1P2 VLCD 4

Weight 181.8

Down 1.7.  This makes me very happy.  I am hopeful on this diet.  The best part (besides how awesomely fast it is) is that it doesn't last forever.  On WW I felt like I would have to be counting points forever to lose the weight I needed to lose.  I also don't like the haggard, sunken looking face you get on WW when you've lose a significant amount of weight.  I have seen it on others many times.

After workout:
100 g. (raw weight) shrimp, 106 cal

Breakfast:
1/2 grapefuit, 44 cal

Lunch:
1 cucumber, chopped w/salt/pepper/rice vinegar, 45 cal
2 pieces of grilled chicken (100 g raw weight total), 110 cal

Dinner
turkey burger, seasoned with fajita seasoning (100g raw), 107 cal
3 c (raw) spinach, sauteed in burger pan, w/salt  21 cal

Total:  442 calories, skipping breadstick and second fruit in favor of more protein needed after workout.  If I am really hungry I can add back in the strawberries and still be under 500 cal.

I am feeling pretty good today.  I ate everything except my breadsticks.  I even used the 1T of milk.  I had it in some tea with stevia.  Not too bad.

Breakfast:
1/2 grapefruit, 44 cal

Lunch:
2 pieces grilled chicken (100 g raw), 110 cal
5 cups spinach, steamed with 4 sprays liquid aminos, 30 cal

Snack:
Apple, 95 cal

Dinner
2 slices of veal (100g raw) with fajita seasonings, lightly cooked, 112 cal
5 cups salad greens, wilted with lemon juice in pan, 34 cal

Dessert
cup of decaf black tea
4 drops stevia
1 T Whole milk, 9 cal

Total Calories: 434

I drank tea and water all day long...about 3.5 Liters.  I am looking forward to sleeping tonight!

YAY.

I drank a 3L bottle of Ozarka yesterday, which I plan to refill and  drink today.  I took my drops at 7:15a.m. and will take them again at 7:15 p.m. 

Today's menu will be similar to yesterday's

Breakfast:

strawberries, 40 cal

Snack
grissini, 20 cal

Lunch:
shrimp (100g raw weight), 106 cal
asparagus, 10,  30 cal

Snack
grissini, 20 cal

orange, 86 cal

chicken (100g raw weight), 110 cal
salad greens, 5 cups, 25 cal

Total:  437 calories. 

I might eat more salad greens or more asparagus to get the total calories a little closer to 500.  Also, I am using 1 lemon today to flavor my water and dress my salad at night.

So far I feel pretty normal. I am very hungry this morning, which is usual for me until I eat something. I went and rode the exercise bike at LA Fitness for 45 minutes. I don't take the drops until 7-7:30 so I won't eat anything until I am already at work. Here is the planned amounts of food:

Breakfast:
9 strawberries, 40 cal
herbal tea, no sweetener

Snack:
grissini stick, 20 cal

Lunch:
100 g raw weight shrimp, cooked, 106 cal
10 asparagus stalks 30 calories
Snack:
apple, 95 cal

Dinner:
100 g raw weight veal, cooked, 112 cal
5 cups spinach, sauteed in water, salt, 42 cal
grissini stick, 20 cal

Total: 463 calories

HCG R1P2 Loading day 2

How did that happen???!!! I am down a pound even after eating all that yesterday? What the heck?

Today I had a hard time loading. I felt slight nausea, slight headache, and I ended up taking TUMS so that I could sleep because the heartburn was so bad. I probably did not eat enough today. I did eat as much as I could.

Breakfast:
3 sausage rolls from the donut store
1 cup of coffee with heavy whipping cream
1 cup of coffee with half and half

Snack
cashew nut squares from Costco

lunch
Half of a 1/2 lb cheeseburger from Fuddruckers with mayo
some cheese/bacon french fries from Fuddruckers. Couldn't eat more than 4
Coke

snack
1 cup whipping cream. It was the best I could do. UGH

Dinner
Fajita with sour cream, cheese, and guacamole
Blueberry pie with whipped cream
